The answer to this question for most of you is a resounding yes! However, this is highly dependent on state and local laws that may restrict or limit the purchases of ammo line. But don’t you worry, we’ve compiled this list of laws so next time you’re asking yourself “Can I buy ammo online?” You can check back here for the most recent updates on the Federal, State, and local regulations.
First things first, you’ve got to be 21 years of age to purchase handgun ammunition and at least 18 years of age to purchase rifle ammunition. Now that we’ve got that out of the way, let’s get into the specifics.

|Connecticut||A valid ACE or Pistol Permit and State ID on file|
|Chicago, IL||Must be shipped to FFL holder**|

|Los Angeles, CA||Must be shipped to FFL holder**|
|Massachusetts||Must be shipped to FFL holder**|
|New Jersey||NJ Firearms ID is required|
|New York (State)||Must be shipped to FFL holder**|
|New York City||No ammunition or primer shipments|
|Oakland, CA||Must be shipped to FFL holder**|
|San Francisco, CA||Must be shipped to FFL holder**|
|Sacramento, CA||Must be shipped to FFL holder**|
|Washington D.C.||No ammunition or primer shipments|
|APO & FPO Address||No ammunition or primer shipments|
|PO. Boxes||No ammunition or primer shipments|
